The Carson Colony is located in Carson City off Curry Street. The mailing address is 2900 S. Curry Street, Carson City, NV 89703. The colony has a gymnasium that hosts various tribal events. The gym is also the location for youth recreation activities and the After School Latch Key program. The Dresslerville Community is located in Gardnerville near the Gardnerville Ranchos. They are the largest Washoe community and have a variety of Tribal public buildings on the Community’s land. The community council is working on developing a new community center and park to improve the quality of life for the members of their community. Stewart Community is located towards the south end of Carson City off of highway 395. The Stewart Community Center is the site for many youth activities and culture events. The After School Latch Key program and Youth Council are some of the programs this colony provides. The Woodfords Community is located in Markleeville, California, which is part of Alpine County. They have a community center and the Woodfords Indian Education Center for community members to access. The education center offers tutoring services to youth and adults. Adult tutoring starts at 10:30am-2:00pm; youth tutoring is offered from 2:00pm-5:30pm. All classes are offered Monday thru Thursday. The Woodfords Gym is open from 5:00pm to 8:30pm for all community members to utilize. The community council is working on bringing in more cultural activities to promote Washoe culture and history.

The Off-Reservation tribal community is spread out throughout the United States. The Off-Reservation representatives are tasked with informing and involving tribal members who do not reside on reservation properties. Off-Reservation Community newsletters are issued by the representatives to keep their constituency informed on tribal activities.
