Tiana Anpo Win Spotted Thunder was gifted with the Lakota name, “Tasiyagmuka Ho Waste Win” at the age of nine, which translates to “Good Voice Meadowlark Woman”. The name predicted her destiny as a singer and composer of music.

Tiana was raised in the heart of the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation outside of Oglala, South Dakota. She comes from the families of Spotted Thunder, Blindman, No Water, Lone Wolf, Her Many Horses, Fast Horse and Little Spotted Horse, among others on her Lakota side (Father).
She is a direct descendant from the Ward family in the Wolf (Waya) Clan Cherokee (Mother).
She expresses her vocal diversity as a singer of many different genres including Round Dance, Hand Game, Rhythm & Blues, Gospel, Peyote and Traditional Lakota Songs. Tiana is also a “Wicaglata” (Woman back up singer) at Pow Wows and Sun Dance.
Her debut album of original material “Sunrise To Sunset” was released April 2012.
