Roseanne Supernault

Roseanne Supernault is an award winning Vancouver based actress who was raised in the small rural settlement of East Prairie, Alberta, until moving to Edmonton at the age of 6. Much of her acting education took place there. Having completed 4 years of intensive training at Victoria School of Performing and Visual Arts, an institution focused on not only the history of the arts, but the execution and constant immersion in the field; this is where she discovered her passion. With roots digging deep into the ways of Metis Cree Culture, she was raised by her single father and had an upbringing in a large family.

Roseanne supports incredible leads in the new hit APTN Series “Blackstone,” playing across Gemini Award winning Actress Michelle Thrush as her mother, Gail Stoney. Her haunting performance of Natalie Stoney has garnered her two Best Actress Awards at the Alberta Film and TV Awards, with three nominations in total. Most recently she won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the American Indian Film Festival in San Francisco for her work in “Every Emotion Costs,” across Michelle St. John, Nathaniel Arcand, and Tantoo Cardinal. Supernault has just completed filming “Maina,” based on the novel of the same namesake. In it she plays the title character of Maina, with Graham Greene as her father, and Eric Schwieg as her Captor.

With a compassion for the human condition, she loves to explore all fields of acting and continues to work with a lucrative career in Film, Television, and Theater.
