Navajo silversmith, Pat Bedonie, was born in Ganado, Arizona on the Navajo Reservation. She is of the Edge Water and Coyote Pass Clans. Pat’s mother, Lutricia Yellowhair, is an accomplished silversmith who has passed the traditional Navajo jewelry making styles onto her children. Today, Pat lives in Farmington, New Mexico and often collaborates with her mother and brother to create an array of stunning jewelry. She uses a variety of symbols important in her Navajo heritage and specializes in the sunburst design crafted in 14k gold over sterling silver.
