1. Find out which tribe you descend from. It is hard to explore your Native American Heritage if you don’t know this

2. Go to the Library. There are many fascinating books about all of the Native American tribes, and how they contribute to today’s lifestyle

4. Ask your family. Older relatives might remember a story or bit of information about your ancestors

5. Learn their Language.Find a book or website that translates English into your people’s language

6. Go to Festivals. Most tribe descendants hold festivals which contain the original history, art, food, clothing and lifestyle of your tribe. There is also festivities that interpret the average day of someone of that tribe

7. Pay Attention during history class. There is tons of information about a majority of the native American tribes who resided here when the settlers came to America to be found in an average American History textbook
