The stories and poems of Sherman Alexie, an enrolled Spokane/Coeur d’Alene Indian from Wellpint, Washington, have appeared widely, in such publications as Caliban, Esquire, The World, Beloit Poetry Journal, Red Dirt, Zyzzyva and Story.
