The Lethbridge actor went from a small non-speaking part in TV’s DreamKeeper to a staring role in Mel Gibson’s epic Apocalypto, with next to no experience as an actor.
“In high school I took Drama 10 and that was it. I have no schooling and my role in DreamKeeper (2003) was my biggest,” says Brewer.
Despite his almost non-existent resume, the 29-year-old says landing the role of comical sidekick Blunted, who is the butt of every joke in Apocalypto, was actually quite easy.
