The Legendary rock n roll singer’s ancestry has been researched by many. It is said that the Presley name originated from Scotland when a man named Andrew Presley moved to America in the 1700s. In addition to this, German, French, (on his mothers side) and Cherokee also make up his heritage.

His great-great-great grandmother was said to be a full blooded Cherokee. Another source stated that his maternal great grandmother was said to be a Jewish woman.
